What is Salt of Ishigaki?
Ishigaki island is located in the Yaeyama Islands, about 430 km further southwest of Okinawa, located in the southernmost part of Japan. Yaeyama Islands are made of a group of small islands including Taketomi Island, Kohama Island, Yonaguni Island, Hatoma Island, Hateruma Island, Kuroshima Island, Iriomote Island, Aragusuku Island, and Ishigaki Island.
Salt of Ishigaki is 100% pure island salt made by the islanders, which contains the blessings of the Yaeyama Islands nurtured by the unique islands.
